Allied: The Best Is yet to Come
When it comes to print and all things related, Allied is changing the way people see and experience print’s powerful and transformative qualities. We’ve recently gone through some exciting changes over the past few months, including the installation of the HP T300 Continuous Inkjet press at our newly renovated, secure Digital Direct Mail Center. We also just recently installed an HP Indigo 10000 Digital Press, giving us the most technologically advanced digital pressroom in the region.
Because of all the great changes and growth happening at Allied, our marketing team has been hard at work communicating these developments to our customers, prospects, employees, vendors, and the community at large. We recently participated in a video produced by HP Graphics highlighting the transformation occurring at Allied. It includes appearances by both COO Tony Pelc and CMO Elly Chichester, who give a detailed overview of all additions made to the Allied family, as well as the reasons for why we choose the technology we did based on the direction of our industry and trends in the general marketplace. The video even includes a thorough background on the history of Allied, highlighting our beginnings as small storefront print shop on Woodward Avenue to a four building, multi-functional campus in Ferndale, Michigan. It is a great biography about where our company has been and where we see our future.
Another recent interview was done by Print Impressions, the world’s leading resource for all things related to the printing industry. The detail-rich article talks specifically about the two new HP presses in our Digital Direct Mail center, focusing on how this new technology will be game changers for our industry regionally, and beyond. Allied CMO Elly Chichester notes, “With the new presses, Allied Printing will be able to convert much of its work from static offset and commodity print to more high-value applications, offering its customers mass customization, exceptional color and faster turnaround times.”
Chichester also gives great insight into the decisions made for bringing in this specific technology, and says that it will be something that will only solidify the reemergence of print as highly relevant and sought-after commodity. “We are helping Detroit’s new pioneers lead the rebirth of our creative community by rethinking the craft of printing, and HP digital printing technology will be a huge differentiator to grow our business and meet our customers’ complex printing needs.”
